Summer Project 1

Confession: I can be crafty when i want to. Yes folks, i am a closet Martha Stewart. For my first summer project i refurbished a secretaries desk for the kitchen. here are the pictures:
I first attempted to strip it. It was rediculously difficult but i was able to do it:

Then came the primer:

And then the black paint:

Ahhh and now for the finished product:


I think it came out well for a first attempt! My next project is this table set alfie and i found free on the side of the road! i just need to find some funky fabric for the seat covers!
